-Why/How you started CrossFit: Was looking for something more challenging than a normal gym. My background is breakdancing and I love to learn new skills and moves. Crossfit filled that gap.
-Why you train at S2S: S2S was the first and only Crossfitt box in bali back in the days. After starting crossfit in Germany I wanted to continue while I'm in bali. Coincidentally, Crissilia just opened the box when I was there and since that day I never left S2S. For me S2S is friends, great coaches, and athletes and I still love the rugged charm of a backyard box.

Jan has been with us since Day 1 when we just had 1 pull up bar, 1 squat rack, and 1 barbell. He's part of what makes us "S2S" and has definitely helped us go from "STRENGTH 2 STRENGTH" over the years. Thanks Jan for your loyalty, drive, and breakdance moves mid WOD.

-Why/How you started CrossFit: I found about Crossfit online and I thought that its really cool. But at that time there was no proper crossfit in Bali or I did not know of any. Then I found S2S in Canggu, and I LOVED it. The place and people were really nice and weights and movements were new for me. After a month I realized that unfortunately as much as i loved it I couldnt drive that far everyday. With a sad heart I continued to go to the regular gym. Then in less than a year, S2S opened in Jimbaran, and i went there the very first day and never stopped. Crossfit has become an important part of my life and I really enjoy being able to lift heavy weight above my head. I also found out that Crossfit is very efficient and an hour a day worth training does better than 2 hours work out in the gym. It also burns a lot of calories and allows me to indulge myself with sweets. -Why you train at S2S: I love the place, people and of course the owners. There I can always meet a lot of new people from all around the world.

Ana is one of our most committed and strongest athletes. She shows up day in and day out and has the results to prove it. Gotta love that she trains in part to indulge on those delicious treats!!! You're in great company Ana!!!
